About Us
Guaiquerí Empanadas Taste Venezuela.
Our tradition is simple: The authentic, sun-drenched flavors of Margarita Island.
Our cooking passion and methods were lovingly preserved by our grandmother, who taught us that the best Venezuelan food is made with a generous heart.
From pick up at our place in Waikiki, we’ve grown to bring the full spectrum of our sazón to you:
The Savory: Perfect Empanadas, handmade Arepas, Tequeños, and the famous seafood richness of Rompe Colchón.
The Sweet: Creamy Quesillos, refreshing Chicha and Cocada, and our signature Tres Leches cake.
This is more than food—it’s a taste of the Venezuelan coast. We are happy to see you happy.

Our Tradition: Sabor Margariteño, Rooted in Guaiquerí Heritage
Our story is a love letter to Isla de Margarita, drawing its spirit from the ancient wisdom of the Guaiquerí people. For centuries, this island has blended the bounty of the Caribbean Sea with the flavors of the Venezuelan mainland.
Our grandmother’s passion became our guide, preserving the sazón (flavor) of this rich culinary tradition.
From the golden, crispy embrace of our Empanadas to the rich, slow-cooked depth of Asado Negro and the soulful comfort of Hervido de Res, we bring you the authentic taste of home. We offer the street-food delights of Arepas and Tequeños, the sweet nostalgia of Chicha and Cocada, and the festive flair of Tres Leches and Marquesa de Chocolate.
This is more than a meal; it is a delicious journey to the heart of Venezuela. We are honored to share this genuine Guaiquerí tradition with you.

First Empanadas Batch
Our first batch was for our friends. We started from our apartment, then our friend Yeri posted an Instagram picture with the empanadas, and her friends wanted empanadas, and we did curbside pickup and delivery.
